How To boot to recovery from power off
« on: March 06, 2016, 08:43:24 pm »
To boot to recovery from power off, I am holding POWER + VOLUME DOWN until the phone vibrates and LG logo appears then Immediately pressing the same buttons and holding until the Factory Reset  confirmation screen comes up.

My phone tries to go into recovery looks like it is loading for about 10 seconds and then Reboots back to LG logo screen.  I'm unsure if it actually has factory reset my device or not.

Thanks for the welcome,  its been a little while ago,  but it is a build of twrp for the lg l41c-R3. Im assuming thats for release 3.  But the issue occurred when i tried to restore a backup of the stock recovery with flashify.  I was unrooting the device.   I had some stock apps uninstalled when I unrooted.  It was kind of weird because it was quite some time after i restored the stock recovery and used supersu's full unroot process.  Then one fay i was on the phone and it shut down and wouldn't power back on

Also when i try to boot recovery it acts like it is going to factory reset and looks like its loading but only for like 15 seconds the it goes to the LG logo screen.  Any way to flash another recovery back to this phone?

From the video TWRP didn't come up, and since you can get past the LG screen, your phone is bricked. This is why I hate what TracFone does to there phones. Removes download mode and fastboot mode and stock recovery, this basically means there is no way to fix your phone without a solid recovery. You can always get a free L41C replacement from TracFone by using this guide:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rYx_QUTSlsyn1kCLi5OOLQzP3LykWL6j78uWkvX9bY4/edit?usp=sharing

Keep in mind if you do that you will be committing fraud at your own risk, I have done it like 10 times so I don't think TracFone cares that I cam committing fraud.

For future reference, use this recovery on the LG Ultimate 2: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qyy6xyrhcwu8gmd/TWRP-L41C-R4.img It will allow you to boot from factory reset.
