Title: Bricked L39C - Any stock .img available?
Post by: Haruo on August 16, 2017, 11:18:47 am
Hello again everyone,

I have been on and off for a few years, and I happened to revive my interest in my Optimus Dynamic II. I noticed that in the few seconds when the stock recovery resets this device, it is visible in ADB, so I figured that I could try and flash something in that small time window.

I may get a .zip of all the stock apps and try to flash it, since that's why I am having problems (missing stock apps).

I'm tempted to go and ask LG for a stock image to flash, but I wasn't sure whether that was the best idea or not.

**EDIT: Never mind, I get
Code: [Select]
error:closed from ADB when I try to sideload...

Sadly I cant find any stock files for this device, I sold mine a long time ago and all I remember is that the bootloader was literally stuck.

Stuck... speaking of that, how do the bootloaders work on these phones? I try to boot into it, but it takes me to the OS instead (on another TracFone).

I'm pretty sure the boot loader is locked down on uncommon models, meaning there really isn't one. Kinda like early versions of OS X. You could try some stuff from the LG L4 II but I'm not sure if that would work.
