Hi all, I have a few things to discuss with ya'll. It's been quite a while since I have posted anything meaningful here, infact my last ROM post was quite a while ago, November 18, 2015 to be exact. Since then a lot of stuff has happened, and I have not had any quality time to build ROMs, plus have invested in things other than Android. Taking a look at who I was back in 2015 was quite scary, finding things I wish I had never said and mistakes I wish I had never made, especially those on AndroidForums.com (Holy crap I'm sorry EarlyMon). When I dug into it, I realized how annoying I was and how simply selfish my actions and responses where. I failed to understand what anybody else was trying to tell me, set in my own way of doing things. The best I can do is apologize to those who became pissed off by me not wanting to test stuff I had little confidence in, and me being a dick to people that had never installed a ROM before, blaming them for everything. The point being, As much as I would love to be involved with the community more, I just can't bring myself to start developing again and do what I once did without feeling angry with myself.
In light of all this, I would love to have a dedicated forum for TracFone devices the way there once was on AndroidArea51, a place where TracFone owners can ask specifics for there devices and get help by those who actually own the device and those who care about making ROMs for such specialized devices that require much more amounts of work than other phones. Unfortunately their domain is down and I don't see it coming back up anytime soon. If anybody has any links or archives of these files, please let me know. I plan on adding a AA51 section for their legacy software so people can still use it. We need somebody new to step up to the plate and revive the TF Devs name and community with fresh new software and fill the gap left behind for new TracFone devices. For this we not only need a few developers, but a new lead admin to take my position. If you think you qualify, fill out this Google Form: https://goo.gl/forms/hHkOhwpnomW8Vq3y1
Hopefully we can get somebody new in, the application due dates have not yet been determined, but I will inform you guys. I also should mention, if we manage to fill the position, the website will should undergo a heavy redesign for the overhaul. Thanks, Ryan C.

A few people have been asking me how to do this, so I thought it would be best to post a guide on how to do this. 1. Turn phone off and remove battery, then put it back in after waiting a few seconds. 2. Press and hold the down volume and the power/lock key. The LG logo will appear. Release the power/lock key, then immediately press and hold the power/lock key again. This will take a few tries to get it right.3. Release all the keys once you see the factory reset screen come up. 4. Use the down volume button to select “YES”. Press the power/lock key to confirm. 5. Wait a few moments until the phone boots into recovery or resets itself if no recovery is installed. I have used this method multiple times, and it's never failed. Don't worry if you don't get into the recovery screen the first time, it took me at least 10 tries to get the timing right the first time I did it. Good luck

I would like to thank you all for the patience you all had when the site was down.
As you can see, we have little work to do here. I need to completely rebuild the theme and that will take some time. Also all of the photos have been deleted so I will try to re-add as many as I can from my PCs cache. Photos that are not there by Monday will have to be added by you.
Have a good day!

Intro:We now have another custom ROM for our LG Ultimate 2, this time its AOKP! It's not 100 percent stable so it shouldn't be used as a daily driver, but it comes close. All the basics work so you don't have to worry you are gonna mess up your phone. I have tested it myself and I can confirm it does infact work. What AOKP is:AOKP is a Android custom ROM based off stock Android, that means you get a pure Nexus KitKat feel in the ROM. It has extra features that can make your phone much more useful. It's like CyanogenMod, but more lightweight. Download:AOKP: https://www.mediafire.com/?04r76eduei5hy37Google Apps: http://opengapps.org/?api=4.4&variant=fullHow to install using TWRP:1. Download https://www.mediafire.com/?04r76eduei5hy37 to your phone. 2. Boot into recovery from flashify by selecting the "Reboot into recovery" option from the menu. 3. In TWRP select "Backup" 4. Now select the "Storage" option and tap on MicroSD 5. Next name the backup something then press backup. And it will backup everything on your phone. 5. Once it's done press the home key and then select the "Install" option from the menu. 6. Find the zip and uncheck anything about erasing the ROM 7. After its done installing press "Wipe Cache" and then press reboot. 8. Enjoy AOKP! Screenshots:- https://goo.gl/photos/nmtVXRy184uK7ck4ABugs:- Won't make calls/Send SMS - Camera fails to work Notes:- Going into Settings to uninstall and app will crash the phone and reboot it. There are many ways to take a screen shot on an Android device. The simple way to capture the screen on Android is to press and hold Power and Volume Down buttons until you hear a camera shutter. The image will be saved in a Screenshots directory and is accessible via the Gallery. There is also a way to capture a screen shot from your PC.
Connect your phone to your PC and make sure the phone is turned on. Then check to see if adb is installed by opening command prompt and typing:
adb version
If you see "Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.xx" then your all set. If not download ADB by searching on Google for it. Next make sure your device is recognized by typing:
adb devices
If you see a device on the list your good. If you don't see one, go to the manufacturer's website and download the device drivers.
Make a new folder on your desktop and name if "Screenshots" or something like that. Next open up thta folder and hold down the shift key and right click at the same time. You should see and option called "open commend window here" and click on that. Then type this:
adb shell screencap -p /sdcard/screenshot.png
You can change screenshot to any name you want. After you have done that type this:
adb pull /sdcard/screenshot.png
That will copy the screenshot from the phones SD card to the folder you opened the command window in. Now your all done!
If you need any help just leave a comment as always.

Please Use at your own risk!!! This may brick your phone if you don't follow the steps correctly! So you want to root LG Sunset? Well your at the right place. Rooting is the process of getting administrative rights to the phone so one can do customizations that aren't normally allowed. Rooting can make your phone into a beautiful artwork, the basic root user can still use many useful things such as, Custom boot animations (Get rid of that carrier one), uninstall system apps that annoy you, and much more. You can also flash custom ROMs (If they ever come out for one of these phones). You will need recovery to flash a ROM. This worked for my buddy with the Sunset so it will work for you. 1. Go to http://www.kingroot.net and download the latest version of KingRoot for Android. 2. Make sure unknown sources is checked in settings or it wont open. 3. Open the KingRoot apk file 4. Install it! It will tell you its a bad app, don't listen to that and just continue. 5. There will be a thing asking you to root, so press it. It can take around 20-30 seconds, and now you got root! 6. Your done! Enjoy your rooted Sunset! If you have any questions just post a comment and we will try to help you.

Introducing a new type of PhilZ Touch Recovery: The Inverted PhilZ. Inverted PhilZ is all the graphics files in PhilZ Touch Recovery changed to the opposite color of the original. It's the same PhilZ we have always used, but with a new color scheme. It's like having your phone white instead of black. You can install it on your phone in many ways, but I will be explaining the most simple way to do so. 1. Make sure your phone is rooted. 2. Download inverted-philz-w5c.img 3. Install and run Flashify. 4. Make sure you hit “Allow” when Superuser request window pops up when opening the Flashify app. 5. Choose “Recovery image” for recovery images. 6. Choose the file you want to install by selecting “Choose a file”. 7. Choose one of your file explorer apps. If you don’t see any, download and install ES File Explorer8. Browse your storage and choose the IMG file you downloaded earlier. 9. Choose “Yup”. 10. Enjoy the inverted PhilZ Touch Recovery! What it looks like: If you have any questions or need help, just leave a comment.

Intro: A few people have asked me how to enable the Lollipop Multi user mode on the LG Power so I decided to make a tutorial on how to enable the function. Requirements: A rooted LG Power Root browser 2 minutes of time How to do it: Make sure you have all the things on the list for requirements before you do this. The first step is to navigate to the build.prop in the system folder. You can get there by selecting the system folder when you open root browser and opening the build.prop file. To edit it you will need to be rooted. You can root with a app called KingRoot. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the files and add a extra line and type this in: fw.max_users=3 fw.show_multiuserui=1 Then save it by hitting the little floppy disk icon on the top of the screen. Now reboot your phone and you should be good to go! Screenshots: Final words: I really hope this helped you out just a bit. Keep in mind that LG did not intend the function to be used on the phone so it won't be perfect. If you need any help with this don't hesitate to ask.
