If you use or know anyone that uses Net10 they have a free
LG O D ll (L39C) but you must buy a monthly plan to get it for free unlike @ TF, you have to buy airtime but, you can buy Pay-as-you-Go minutes and use the minutes on a different phone, but I don't have any Net10 phones to use the minutes "monthly plan" minutes on.
I'll be back.

That's too bad. The L38C (even though old) has some Area51 stuff but I have yet to find a rom/recovery for the L39C. I did get root with Framaroot 1.9.1 thankfully.
My L38C was free from TF but now they are $9.99 or more. If I catch the L39C's for free I'll send you one, if your still interested, if it ever happens.

Hey,
I have an L38C (rooted) and in the wifi settings for my static setup it has netmask and connects to wifi using a static address easily. I have (2) new L39C's one rooted and one not. Both have prefix length instead of netmask and after setting the static address, the connect button is always grayed out. The same with my ZTE Valet, same grayed out connect button. With the 39c's I left 1 un-rooted but both act the same. Is there any way to change something in the system to make the parameter accept netmask instead of prefix length. The valet and the 2 L39c's both have identical IP, Gateway and DNS settings that have to be changed to fit my network as in, IP reads 192.168.1.128 and needs to change to 192.168.2.98b for my network. The settings do change but the connect button is still greyed out. The prefix length is set to "24" on all 3 phones which from what I've read is equal to 255.255.255.0, which is what I used on the L38C. Both brands are very close in specifics, Android 4.1.1(valet) and 4.1.2(L38C's) Network hardware is EvDo rev. A and EvDo rev. A:6.
The phone that works w/static (L38C) was free from TracFone, the 3 that won't connect w/static were $9.99 each and are newer models.

Can this be inherent to Android 4.1.1 - 4.1.2 or the network hardware?

 thank,
michael

UPDATE -
I tried changing my system to the 192.168."1.1" vs "2.1" format but, not until I let my Network assign DHCP and changed to the "1.1" format did they work. All 3 connected immediately.
The L38C, Android 2.2.3 will connect either way but the Android 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 Fones will not connect with static address.
Anybody heard of this (bug)?

thanks again

Thanks for this. This is the first mod that I've seen for the L39C. It looks like it's for a 'not rooted' phone. Hopefully my "Framaroot(ed)-1.9.1 L39C will play nice with it.

I read a couple of weeks ago (somewhere here) you discussing a file that you couldn't d/l due to your IP being B/L or blocked and the guy trying to do it was having problems. I put it on my MF account since I'm a poor "TF" x1) L38C and x2) L39C user and VERY interested in what you've done/are doing/will do. I hope you can use it, I can't find where that post was.

Site Discussion / "I am human" verification app is discombobulated
« on: May 01, 2016, 10:15:58 pm »
Hey,
I've been trying to register over the last week but the process errors out due to the "website owners token has expired" error produced by the verification application. I could find no "contact us".  (could have missed it)
Had to resurrect my old Micro-stealmyinfo-soft account to gain access. Gnoogle+ could never connect, it said.

I know, quit wine(ing), got cheese?
