Bricked Phone Support / Re: LG L41C Stuck on Boot Animation« on: September 30, 2015, 08:18:26 pm »Thanks. I was thinking of buying a Moto G. While I save up I'll order a replacement. Do I need to send my current phone in and is it easy to get? Also would I contact LG or TracFone? You just have to tell them your phone wont work, dont tell them what you did. What happens is they send you a white FedEx envelope and just stick your phones stuff in there and right down your name a address. Then just take it to rite-aid and drop it in the blue box. In like 2-5 days your new phone will come in the mail. It's quite easy to do. 213
Bricked Phone Support / Re: LG L41C Stuck on Boot Animation« on: September 30, 2015, 07:18:17 pm »That did not work either. It simply says processing factory reset, shows the LG and powered by Android logos again, then continues to try to reboot. Dangit. Dat sucks. Always make sure you have a recovery installed when you are rooted. You know you can always get a free replacement from TracFone... I have done that 4 times before... 214
Bricked Phone Support / Re: LG L41C Stuck on Boot Animation« on: September 30, 2015, 07:06:47 pm »DoingYou dont need adb to fix it. As I said before there are 2 ways to fix it. Try this one: 0. Turn off your phone and unplug it from your PC. 1. Press and hold "Volume Down" and "Power" at the same time 2. When the LG logo appears, release the "Power" key and then press and hold it again 3. When the "Factory data reset" screen appears, release all hardware buttons 4. Use the "Volume" rocker to select "Yes", and press "Power" to confirm 5. It will now boot into recovery 215

Bricked Phone Support / Re: LG L41C Stuck on Boot Animation« on: September 29, 2015, 08:35:39 pm »Thanks. Where do I get the LG Mobile Drivers for Ubuntu? Also will ADB work if USB debugging is disabled? There is none but I have a way you can still use adb on Ubuntu. I have done it before. I will post the script you can run to get it working in a hour or so. For now just follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-connecting-lg-g3-to-linux-adb-aka-t2821673 Its kinda complicated but I am sure you will be able to figure it out. 217

There are a few ways to do this.
Method 1: Turn off your phone and unplug it from your PC. It will now boot into recovery Method 2: Plug your phone into you PC. Make sure the LG Mobile Drivers and adb is installed. 1. Open a command window 2. Type adb devices 3. Type adb reboot recovery 4. Let the phone reboot Those should work for you if your running the UltaLolli ROM or LG G3 ROM 1.1 or later. 218

To factory reset make sure your booted into TWRP. Then press the wipe button, than slide the factory reset slider. Or you can just select data and wipe that.

LG Ultimate 2 / Re: [ROM] [4.4.2] LG G3 ROM for the LG Ultimate 2« on: September 27, 2015, 07:54:03 pm »Ok. Thanks for the update. I see your porting marshmallow to this rom in December I'm I right?Yup. It might be 5.1.1 because the is no G3 UI for 6.0. LG will use the G4 UI so I should change that to LP. 223

General Device Support / Re: Booting Into recovery: Secure Booting Error. Cause: Boot certification verify« on: September 20, 2015, 05:44:56 pm »When I try to boot into recovery my phone (while still displaying LG and Powered by Android) displays Secure Booting Error. Cause: Boot certification verify in the top right corner. There seems to be no other posts about this on the LG Ultimate 2. Anything I can do? Reinstall the recovery and make sure it's bumped. |
