With the recent release of 2 Updates on the stock ROM for 'Keyguard' and a new thing called 'SystemUI Update Helper', it got me thinking, maybe we could get an OS update (not from 'Keyguard' but from the 'Update Helper').
These two are very vital to system operation, I will break them down for you.

Keygaurd:
This is the lockscreen, it is the interface and also how it operates. On the LG G3 ROM if you update this, the material design lockscreen will remove itself and then turn into the default Optimus UI.

SystemUI Update Helper:
I am actually not 100 percent sure what this does, but the System UI is the status bar and a few small other things. I would venture to guess this updates the status bar.

My guess to as why these updates have been released is to remove the customization made to the LG G3 ROM and the UltaLoli ROM to restore them to default look. Updating theese will probably break a few things as there are a couple things in the status bar and lockscreen apks that require certain resources. if these are missing, the device will pretty much be bricked. A broken keygaurd is just like a broken phone, I busted system UI almost as bad.

My recommendation is to hold off on updating these until I can get a closer in depth analysis of these, but I am for sure that these can be patched on both ROMs.

General Device Support / Re: How to BUMP files past a locked Bootloader

I have BUMPed files before to no avail. Even bumping it won't make it work on the phone I have found. Android 5.0.0 would probably let me, but the update to 5.0.2 LG PT on it messes it up I think

General Device Support / Re: TWRP for LG Destiny

Well, how did you do it for the U2  ?  You probably recompiled the code specific to the U2 and, it was probably a snap for someone who's comfortable with Open Source as y'all are . Needs to be Bumped and, once again, something that nobody here save yourself knows **** about .  I've never once compiled Code in my life and, as expected, seems to be unstable.  Everything about Lollipop Security parameters seems to be slightly increased. Was expecting a walk in the park -  pretty much got mugged. Doing the Destiny's  TWRP  from scratch is NOT  recommended.  Hasn't hit the Web ( yet )  on how to do it. That's as prototypic as it gets, Jack !  You don't get lucky Flashing the MetroPCS  Leon  version -  I'll bet serious money that it won't load. I'm in  No Man's Land and, I'm very uncomfortable here.  It's a ticking time bomb. Literally !  How do you do it being a Dev  ?
The U2 wasn't as locked down as the L22C/L35G is. I have tried flashing thr Leon version and I get nothing sadly.

Here's a progress report for anyone with a  Destiny  or  Sunset .  Rooted via  KINGROOT . As far as  Xposed is concerned, it's a must to apply  GravityBox  for Lollipop (LP) .  Get the rite ARM file for your unit ( usually ARMv7 ) and use SDK21 as its platform and, it will install . However, for first generation Lollipop ( 5.0.1 )  it seems a bit limited in what I'm able to tweak in comparison to KitKat GB .  As far as TWRP,  that was a challenge. I used  2.8.7 like you did adapting the U2  but used the LG Leon as the focalpoint and,  it came up zippedy doo-dah !  So, I've got the foundation for some further Devs work. I'm of the belief that Lollipop will offer more tweaks per square inch than KK did. The CPU is a  Snapdragon MSM8916  quadcore unit.  I will NOT stand down until  CM12 is up and running full speed on this Destiny.  That one might be the proverbial **** !
Ok, so are you saying that you got TWRP to work?

Good afternoon .  Must have  TWRP  fully functional on a recently received  LG Destiny  GSM  fone.  This model is even smoother and cleaner in its overall look than our favorite U2 is.  Power and Volume Keys have been moved onto the Back Cover.  It HAS the look !   Now, how to put things like TWRP and Xposed onto the Destiny.  I've tried Flashing TWRP with Flashify and, for some unknown reason, will NOT work. Neither will Xposed. When you become a Developer, you're pretty much   f**ked and turned upside down.  Being a Pro doesn't seem to be doing me any bit of good here.  19 of 20  peeps WILL ive up and quit.  I can't do that - too many reasons. I'm getting rather burned up and reasonably burned out on this one. There's NO development on this model.
There is a reason why there is no development for the phone, mostly because many have tried to get something on it, but past lollipop it has been very difficult on LG TracFones to get any further then rooting it. The phone is already a year or so old, so newer phones will be the focus in the future. Wish I could help, but I don't have the phone anymore, nor do I have my Ubuntu working.

My dad had the same phone, and it bricked itself with no_user_input. It could very well be a hardware thing that makes these phones do it, since after all, hardware problems are pretty common with lg products (g3 screen fade, g4 bootloops). The ironic part about his phone bricking is that I have the same phone, and I've done all sorts of low level tweaking, and haven't had a problem  :).
Ok, I have never had a issue with a LG KitKat  device, but others experiences may differ.

What types in of low level tweaking would you say has been done?

LG Ultimate 2 / Re: OEM Mode for U2

What I meant to say was that I tried putting the U2's  2.8.7  TWRP on the Lucky and,  Flashify will flash it but it didn't work. I thought that, since the Lucky was KitKat that it might work.  No such way !  By the way, there's a new OS that has surfaced over in Europe and it's called  LINEAGE os .  Yes, it does have a variant for the W5.  Check it out, I'm sure you're always looking to get the drop on a new and tasty OS that can be rewritten to include the Ultimate2 .  This looks to be aserious successor to the CM fame enjoyed recently.  I'd bet serious money that you'll be able to  " morph "  their stable ( nightly ) file available at their site. Called  LINEAGE  os.  Maybe you haven't heard of it. Brand spanking new .
The devices are very different, just because they both run KK doesn't mean that TWRP will work, it's actually not a factor. It's the processor and the bootloader that matter.

I will take a look at the OS. Might be able to port it.

It's remotely possible that, turning that switch  ON  might possibly allow you to use Download Mode IF you can supply the Code for it.  Having Download Mode isn't critical once you haver TWRP but, still a smooth option .  As far as Destiny is concerned, I'm betting that, if ya write a variant for 2.8.7  for an LG Leon, you should be in . Somebody gave me a Lucky and, tried putting your  U2  version 2  on it and, quickly ganked that Lucky !  It even deauthorized the ADB bridge. No **** !  Tried an AOKP Boot Animation and well, you know the rest .  These fones are an amazing challenge !
Well the U2 ROM isn't meant to run on anything but the Ultimate 2. I will see what I can do for the Destiny. I have the LG Power, which is similar, so somthing common might work on em.

Yea, this is an LG  Parameter of which, if it weren't a Tracfone,  would apparently be a prerequisite for unlocking your Bootloader.  Funny how this one goes -  even the peeps that know about it don't really know what the term  OEM Mode  means. I would think that, on normalized LG models on normalized carriers, you turn that  ON  and, you're past that sophisticated Unlock code that creates logistical nightmares from thin air . At that point, you're logistically Unlocked .  But, not with Tracfone. Gotta be one of the more freakazoid Telecommunications companies I've ever seen go past me. If you have any tidbits on how to install TWRP onto an LGDestiny,  please feedback cause there's virtually no starting point for me to begin at. Most of the peeps here don't realize what it's like to do Dev work . None - it would scare them away .
Correct. TracFone makes it VERY hard to do anything past use the basic functions of the phone.

I will try to look into TWRP for the Destiny tonight, but if I remember correctly it's like the LG Power, impossible to unlock.

Ryan, currently using ulta_lolli. Is there any other roms for the u2 to play with while we patiently wait for g3 2.4?

I DO NOTHING AM NOT A DEVELOPER I USED THIS PHONE EVERY DAY ...BUT I DID SOMETHING WHEN IT SHOW NO SERVICE ONLY 911 AND IT THE PHONE INFO GONE   ...I TRIED TO USE TESTING MODE AND PUT 000000 LIKE SERVICE NUMBER AND I FAILED TO ENTER PHONE TESTING MODE THEN I USED APPS WHICH IT DID THAT FOR ME I TURN RADIO OFF AND THEN ON RUN TEST AND NOTHING CHANGE SO I REMOVE THE APP AND RESET THE PHONE AND THIS TIME IT STUCK IN BOOTLOOP FOR EVER
1. Please stop with the caps, it's hard to read and also slightly annoying.
2. Phones don't just brick themselves without the user doing something. I need to know what you did, like a root or something to help you out bud.

Thank you for sharing! I took a look on my G4 and it appears to have the same function, I attached a screenshot of it. I will take a closer look on my U2 when I get home this weekend.

Is there an experimental build we can try out? I never use GApps anyway :)
Kinda, but it's not where I would like it to be for testing, but I can try to post something.
