My phone only let's me use twrp once and then I have to reinstall it for some reason. And I don't have an sd card I can put the rom on
How do you normally get into recovery?

So I tried reflashing to the stock rom from the lg G3 port and I flashed and reset, but did advanced wipe and checked everything. My phone said it had no os installed and to install supersu. I did that and now I'm in a boot loop.
Always wipe the phone before installing anything. Boot back into recovery and reinstall the stock ROM.

I want to root this phone but how do I unlock bootloader? and good rooting tips for this phone?
Kingroot will root the phone, the bootloader can't be unlocked.

Go to messaging app, settings, multimedia message, uncheck auto retrieve. Don't view MMS from senders you don't know. This was more hype on the news then anything else. Nothing really to worry about.
Exactly.

If you use or know anyone that uses Net10 they have a free LG O D ll (L39C) but you must buy a monthly plan to get it for free unlike @ TF, you have to buy airtime but, you can buy Pay-as-you-Go minutes and use the minutes on a different phone, but I don't have any Net10 phones to use the minutes "monthly plan" minutes on. I'll be back.
I see.

You realize that nobody has been effected by it and we have 3 ROMs with the patch for it.

That's too bad. The L38C (even though old) has some Area51 stuff but I have yet to find a rom/recovery for the L39C. I did get root with Framaroot 1.9.1 thankfully. My L38C was free from TF but now they are $9.99 or more. If I catch the L39C's for free I'll send you one, if your still interested, if it ever happens.
michael
That would be good. I was younger at the time I sold the L39C, I didn't know as much back then so I thought it was useless because every time I tried to boot into the recovery I made it wiped the phone. So yea.

Thanks for this. This is the first mod that I've seen for the L39C. It looks like it's for a 'not rooted' phone. Hopefully my "Framaroot(ed)-1.9.1 L39C will play nice with it.

I used KingRoot (ver 4.8.2) SuperTool to root my Tracfone LG L22C Power phone.
I used KingRoot as part of a SuperTool from xda forums. The SuperTool, using a batchfile script, also removed KingRoot after the phone was rooted and installed SuperSU.
The xda forum RootJunky's SuperTool (April 6, 2016 version) was created to root the Amazon Fire 7 (2015) 5th gen tablet, using KingRoot and SuperSU, but it rooted my Tracfone LG L22C Power phone, uninstalled KingRoot and installed SuperSU, all with only a couple of mouse clicks.
Even if you are already rooted with KingRoot, you can use this tool to uninstall KingRoot and install SuperSU. (Just run the tool, let it re-install KingRoot, don't run KingRoot but hit Enter on the SuperTool to then uninstall KingRoot and install SuperSU).
Tracfone LG L22C Power info:
Model Number: LGL22C Android version: 5.0.1 Kernel version: 3.10.49 Build number: LRX21Y Software version: L22CV10a
I have since installed ES File Manager, Titanium Backup, Link2sd on the phone. Root is totally working. Rooted with only a couple of clicks!
Just enable Developer options on LG L22C (by tapping phone Build Number 7 to 10 times [Settings, About Phone, Software info, Build Number (tap 7 to 10 times)]), enable USB debugging on L22C in the Developer options settings.
Connect L22C to Windows 10 with a USB data cable (I used the USB 2.0 port). When screen message on the L22C mentions MTP mode, tap that and change to PTP mode on the phone.
Install RootJunky's SuperTool to the Windows 10 desktop.
Run RootJunky's SuperTool (Amazon-Fire-5th-gen.bat) You may have to read the instructions on the pages below and install adb drivers. Pick option #6 Root. Choose Option #3: version 5.1.2.
Press enter and KingRoot will be installed on the phone from the SuperTool. (approve any messages that appear on phone screen) Now don't touch the PC SuperTool until the phone is rooted.
Open KingRoot on the phone and run it. You may have to run KingRoot several times and the phone may reboot. Just keep running KingRoot until the LG L22C is rooted. After KingRoot reaches 100%, then press ENTER on the PC.
The SuperTool will now uninstall KingRoot and install SuperSU on the phone. Choose NORMAL SuperSU install on the phone when prompted. When SuperSU is installed, reboot the phone. Disconnect data cable.
After reboot the LG L22C Power is rooted. There will be a request by SuperSU to upgrade. Approve it. You can now install Titanium Backup, Link2sd, ES File Manager, etc. Your phone is rooted. As easy as that. THANKS ROOTJUNKY!!!

Most of use just use the app but ok.

I have the ZTE Stratos, and I have been looking everywhere for a way to gain root access... Can anyone please help me??
Try different root methods, like KingRoot and stuff like that. Eventually you will find one that works.

I can tell you one thing, phones don't just do this stuff by themselves. It is impossible to delete the keyboard running a unrooted stock ROM. Also I have absolutely no idea why the volume buttons would just stop working without some extreme hard coding. Unless he took apart the phone and detached some stuff in the motherboard.
There is no stock recovery, so the phone is therefore bricked. I can't help any further than this. The rule of thumb is if you have no recovery and your in a bootloop on the LG L41C, you are bricked. You can always get a free replacement from TracFone if you make up some story.

Well that's ok. I learned a lesson and have like 2 other phones a tablet and some other stuff. Anyway, it makes an awesome paperweight!
Yep lol

TracFone's BYOP program is really good and allows anyone to add any phone to TracFone. Since now there are many TracFone users who use primarily iPhones, Windows Phones, or Androids not sold by TracFone, including myself, I think it would make sense to make boards covering these topics.
