Bricked Phone Support / Re: LG L41C Stuck on Boot Animation
« on: September 29, 2015, 05:19:31 pm »
To factory reset make sure your booted into TWRP. Then press the wipe button, than slide the factory reset slider. Or you can just select data and wipe that.

Thanks! Now the only question is how do I boot into TWRP?

Thank you, but I went through the menu, then it said processing reset (or something similar), then it went back to it's boot animation.

Bricked Phone Support / LG L41C Stuck on Boot Animation
« on: September 28, 2015, 02:33:15 pm »
So my LG L41C is stuck on it's boot animation and because I was not being carefull USB debugging is not enabled. Any way to fix it?

For any tools please note I am using Ubuntu 15.04.

When I try to boot into recovery my phone (while still displaying LG and Powered by Android) displays Secure Booting Error. Cause: Boot certification verify in the top right corner. There seems to be no other posts about this on the LG Ultimate 2. Anything I can do?

Thanks but I was thinking of editing it using a PC (I may have found a temporary solution though)

I've been searching for a bit but I can't seem to find the AOSP APKs anywhere. Anyone know where I can find them? Thanks!

Is it OK if I base a ROM or something similar off of this? (Of course with credit)

Just to mess around with (pretty much changing files text images and maybe some code) and maybe post it. Thanks for the permission!

Thanks! Also that new Chiliocosm (sorry if the names wrong) ROM seems really interesting. Any news on it?

I am still working on it and I am not sure if I am gonna release it because I have different things to work on. Like building Lollipop for the L41C.

Well I have to fix my new laptop before I build it. When I boot up the laptop it crashes because of a driver error. So I can't use it. My mistake from going to Win 7 to 10.

That doesn't sound good... Have you tried Linux?
