I can tell you one thing, phones don't just do this stuff by themselves. It is impossible to delete the keyboard running a unrooted stock ROM. Also I have absolutely no idea why the volume buttons would just stop working without some extreme hard coding. Unless he took apart the phone and detached some stuff in the motherboard.
There is no stock recovery, so the phone is therefore bricked. I can't help any further than this. The rule of thumb is if you have no recovery and your in a bootloop on the LG L41C, you are bricked. You can always get a free replacement from TracFone if you make up some story.

My brother somehow managed to get his volume buttons and keyboards to stop working. It also couldn't make screen selections, like tabs in settings, but it could open apps. So I pulled the battery and put it in and got a bootloop. I reset the phone and it still has the bootloop. And it won't get past the LG screen. The phone is completely stock. No root or ROMs on have ever seen his phone
