Hi there!

1. I really like this ROM and think it's modern and stylish.
2. I know it's been a while since the last post here, development is largely done.

But I've been having a problem and I'm wondering if any of you have an insight. It's trouble with the Google Keyboard and the Google Play Services apps. I flashed the ROM on and it was smooth sailing, until google bullied me into updating Google Play Services. Almost instantly I started getting continuous crash dialogs (Unfortunately, Google Keyboarded has stopped) over and over, to a point where I can barely do anything. I uninstalled the google play update, and all was well again.

I've tried everything I can think of to get these apps to play nice. Cleared keyboard's cache, cleared its data, restarted the phone, cleared the phone's cache, updated the Google Keyboard app to 5.1.23.127065177 (current), restarted into safe mode. But every time I re-update google play services, it all starts up again. I can't get the OS to stop using the keyboard. I'm not sure how to uninstall it, or if that's even the underlying problem.

Any insights would be helpful.

The google keyboard in this rom is a modded one to fix ur issue install a diff keyboard from play store and use it then allow updates

That did the trick! Thank you.

If I wanted to use google keyboard, would I have to uninstall the modded version before installing the current version? It's not giving me any option to uninstall google keyboard entirely.

And speaking of updates, the battery status bar is refusing to let me access its settings until I update it to a newer version. I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I think I found it, 3minit battery settings, right? Installation instructions involve decompiling and recompiling...

Dwnld this and install to fix battery and u can use good keyboard just update through play store

Thanks for the file, unfortunately despite updating to 4.1.0, the app still demands I update whenever I open its settings. I've cleared app cache, data, phone cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the update. It still gives me that popup every time I try to open it. Is it okay that I'm using ES File explorer to conduct the update?
