It looks like I have no recourse, but I figured I'd ask just in case. My phone eventually makes it to the boot animation and proceeds no further. No custom recovery. Am I SOL?

I did. That's about the only thing I can do. It didn't help me any.

I also can't seem to get it into download mode. But if I power the phone on normally, the phone shows up in my device manager. But LGup lists the model as unknown. I have yet to come across a stock rom for it as well.

Bummer. I already warrantied this phone for legitimate reasons and it was a super hassle. I considered doing it again, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I already ordered a new phone. I was hoping if I could get this back up and running, it would make a good backup. Thanks.
